Crew wanted! We're looking for enthusiastic sailors, storytellers, photographers and scientists to join us on our expedition as we embark on our journey to the Arctic pack ice once again.

New tools at work! This winter, we have been working with the Black Whale Pictures team, which operates an ROV that allowed us to dive to 350 meters in the fjords around Stavanger. The plan is to use this very same unit in Svalbard this summer. @north_sails and @jeanneau_official teamed up to provide new sails for the 6000 nautical miles (a quarter of the worlds circumference) Arctic Sense expedition in 2021. Custom made sails are critical for our performance, well-being, and most importantly safety in the field. We are most grateful for their support, and we look forward to working with them in the continuation. Breaking the ice! Captured in Trollfjorden, Norway in 2020. Our initial plan was to go for a hike, but to our surprise the fjord was covered in ice. An excellent opportunity to go freediving presented itself. Quite the breathtaking view. One of many things to love about sailing and the ocean. You never quite know what awaits.
