“To Svalbard by Sailboat” now at the Aquarium in Bergen

Our film “To Svalbard by Sailboat” has found a home for the next 2-3 years at the Bergen Aquarium, captivating audiences with breathtaking footage of Arctic wonders. With over 300,000 annual visitors, the Bergen Aquarium provides an ideal platform to showcase the beauty and fragility of our planet’s icy realms.

Recently, we had the honor of watching the film with an audience alongside representatives from the Aquarium team, Ørjan Sælensminde, and Ingvild Maria Tveita Nesje. The film itself is a 12-minute version of the footage captured during the Arctic Sense expedition in 2023.

This is a significant moment for the Barba project and for Andreas personally. As a child, he often visited the Aquarium and now, seeing his work displayed there for children of the same age he once was is a milestone we deeply appreciate.

The joyous screams of children meeting a polar bear up close and personal for the first time.

If visiting the Bergen Aquarium wasn’t on your list before, we hope you’ll add it now to enjoy the “To Svalbard by Sailboat” film – and don’t forget to tag us on Instagram!
